Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at the Sylvania 1157 clear mini incandescent long life bulbs. Now these durable incandescent bulbs are going to ensure your vehicle's interior and exterior lighting are operating like they should. These bulbs are potentially compatible with your parking lights, turn signals, side markers, and more. Now the bulb type again is 1157. The bulb shape is S-8 and the base is BAY15D. Now these clear long life bulbs feature a rated average life of 2,000 hours with a color temperature of 2,800 Kelvin, which is like a warm white light. And this has a lumen rating of 402 lumens. These bulbs have a simple bayonet connection with your existing receptacle, and as you notice, I am wearing a pair of gloves when changing your bulbs. It's a good idea to wear gloves so you never have to touch the clasp with your skin. The gloves, or maybe even a clean shop towel are gonna reduce the transfer of oils from your skin during installation. They meet department of reg, Department of Transportation regulations for performance and life, and it is recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of the vehicle for consistent light level and color.
