The Amaterasu Cave Myth

The Amaterasu Cave Myth Cut acrylic papers stop motion 02m 22s (Approximately 600 shots) The following project is part of my International Baccalaureate Art HL course. Intended to explore a form of storytelling through digital animation, this project covers one of Shinto’s notorious mythologies. P.S. I do apologize if there are some inaccuracies from the story's plot as I was still learning how to create an animation. All these scenes were out of purely handmade paper cuts which in itself took long time to create. Given the limited time of my deadline there were only a few elements I could assemble in a video of less than three minutes. Thank you for the understanding.
