PTT, through its subsidiary PTT Oil and Retail Business Plc (OR), is actively expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Thailand under the EV Station PluZ brand. As of August 31, 2024, the network comprises over 950 stations nationwide, equipped with more than 1,800 DC fast chargers. These stations are strategically located along major routes, in tourist destinations, and within commercial areas such as shopping malls, hotels, offices, restaurants, and hospitals, ensuring EV users have convenient access to charging facilities throughout the country. In 2024, PTT introduced its first two EV Charging Hubs at PTT Station Saraburi and PTT Station Hua Hin. Each hub is equipped with eight DC fast chargers, delivering up to 180 kW of power, allowing multiple vehicles to charge simultaneously. Looking ahead, PTT plans to establish a total of 10 such hubs by the end of 2024, with upcoming locations including Si Khio in Nakhon Ratchasima, Khanom Woraluprapat in Kamphaeng Phet, Tha Sae in Chumphon, Ruamjai Service (2002) in Buriram, Ban Phai in Khon Kaen, Wachirabarami in Phichit, Chaiya (northbound) in Surat Thani, and Jomtien Beach Intersection in Chonburi. PTT has set an ambitious target to operate 7,000 EV charging outlets by 2030, reflecting its commitment to supporting the growing adoption of electric vehicles in Thailand and promoting sustainable energy solutions. PTT continues to enhance its EV charging network to meet the increasing demand and to facilitate the transition towards cleaner transportation options in Thailand.
