While the Kobe 11 only dropped a few short days ago, @J23app dropped info today about the new Zoom Kobe Icon that seems to be a new model that incorporates retro Kobe designs to create a futuristic retro silhouette similar to their ‘reworkings’ of the Jordan brand archive. Sitting on a Zoom Kobe VI sole unit, the upper sports a Zoom Flight ’98 ‘The Glove’ like upper in either a metallic gold or black colourway. Are we gonna see the Kobe signature range splinter off into a Jordan Brand sub-label? If this is anything to go by, we wouldn’t be surprised! While no other information other than the 15th January release date is available right now, stay tuned as we get more information closer to the release date.
