Even when you don't have the exact experiment, it's helpful to see different iterations of a volcano. Tinker and Vac use shop-vacs and blowers with pom poms to create an eruption, Bubbles and suds to create lava, and smoke machines and tubes to create erupting smoke. They also use the idea of paper mache on a giant scale to create one giant volcano. Then they will teach you how to make a baking soda and vinegar volcano at home and how the chemical reaction works.
