The chicken Killer😁

We've been finding dead and eaten chickens in the chicken coop for a few days... We were quite sure something was messing around in there, so we decided to settle a trap cage. After two nights, we managed to trap the killer : a Large Spotted Genet. After making sure it was healthy, we organised with Nature Conservation to relocate him in a safe and suitable area ! Another successful mission accomplished ! Working on a farm and combining farm animals and a rehabilitation center for wildlife, we often have special encounters with animals, but this one has been one of our favourites. Spotted Genet are nocturnal and very shy animals, so we don't get to see them often. We were lucky to observe this beautiful specimen and to be able to relocate it thanks to the help of the Nature Authorities.
