In this episode of Snakes in the Hoed, we head just outside Hoedspruit after receiving a call about a snake hiding in a carport. The owner was terrified and feared it was a Black Mamba. Once we arrived, we quickly discovered it was actually a Boomslang — still highly venomous, but a very different snake than expected. Not long after, a second call came in from a nearby guest lodge. A snake had been spotted in the thatch roof, and this time it was a Black Mamba — and it turned out to be injured. Join us as we respond to both rescues and help these snakes get to safety. - The Snakes in the Hoed channel is a collaboration between Tim, a highly experienced professional snake handler from Wildlife Safety Solutions, and Pep, a passionate YouTuber and wildlife enthusiast from the channel Pep in the Bush.
