We headed to Gateshead Parkrun this weekend as a club, not chasing times just turning up together. The mission? Tick off the letter “G” on the 5K app Alphabet Challenge… and of course, we got it done ✅ But days like this are never just about one thing. One of our runners made huge progress on the course the kind that doesn’t always show up on a watch, but means everything if you’ve been putting the work in. This is what social running is about: showing up, backing each other, small wins stacking into big change, and proving that progress looks different for everyone.
