During the winter holidays, Charles and fellow students took part in a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Ecuador’s stunning Galápagos Islands — not just to explore, but to make a real impact. From helping at the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre, removing invasive species, and planting endemic trees, to surveying sea lions, marine iguanas, and birds, our students were hands-on in vital conservation efforts 🌱 They even expressed their passion for the planet through a meaningful environmental mural, and got to witness the island’s breathtaking volcanic landscapes, lava tunnels, and unique biodiversity — all while connecting with local communities and cultures.
