Peer-to-peer finance: Invoice trading crowdfunding in Central Europe WEBINAR

This webinar explores invoice trading crowdfunding as an innovative peer-to-peer finance solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Central Europe. The webinar is moderated by Kristina Dely and features digital platforms Borza terjatev, Nekster and Péntech. A survey conducted within the Greet CE project across six Central European countries and Portugal revealed that more than 130 SMEs show strong interest in crowdfunding as an alternative financing instrument. Invoice trading enables businesses to: reduce outstanding trade receivables, access cash faster by selling unpaid invoices, improve cash flow, especially when working with larger corporations or public-sector clients. Crowdfunding is now supported by a European regulatory framework, providing a suitable legal environment for this type of financial intermediation. In addition, ready-made software solutions for invoice trading platforms are already available, supporting further market growth. This webinar is jointly organised by the Greet CE and Greet Geo projects, both Horizon Europe Interregional Innovation Investments initiatives focused on the development of innovation ecosystems.
