How I modified an old monitor to be powered by 5 volts - Part 1

So... another video... after 1 year...AND 100 SUBSCRIBERS! YAY I also think this is actually the best video I made so far too! The raw video was like 1 hours and 20 minutes long and maybe longer.. So please appreciate all the effort I put into making this more watchable ;) I am also planning to make more parts to this video, and part 2 should be about the bigger monitor, and part 3 I might try to make it like a "how to do this" type of video! (modifying another monitor on camera!) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Normally these monitors, and lots of other monitors, are powered by mains voltage (230/115VAC) But I found out that the PSU inside them is usually converting that into 5 volts, and a higher voltage for the backlights.
