This song is nostalgic for me because it’s one of the songs I remember hearing our church band play when I was a kid and my dad would bring me & my brother with him to practice. I wasn’t a member yet but I remember hearing it as we played between the pews :) “Chiar Dacă Oceanele Toate”…..Its words are a battle cry for faith in the fiercest storms of life! To me, this song is a reminder that life is full of trials, waves, and uncertainties. But I choose not to let fear drag me under. Instead, I want my eyes fixed on Christ, steady and unwavering, even when the seas rage. And they be raging y’all! More so than to simply hear this song I pray you feel its strength, to let it encourage you. I want us to be reminded: faith isn’t for fair weather! ⸻ ⏳ Don’t Let Time Slip Away The 2nd song in the medley is “Nu Lăsa Să Treacă Vremea. These words pierce through complacency. We only have this moment. Every minute is a chance to choose upward or downward, to act or drift, to live with purpose or with regret. We can’t stay “neutral” forever. I believe these two songs belong together. One strengthens your soul through the storms. The other stirs a holy urgency in your spirit — to grab hold of today, & not let it slip away. 🙏 May these songs be a lifeline to someone who needs it today. And may they call us higher — to faith, to urgency, to life in Christ.
