I enjoyed using the ProForm Carbon Pro 9000 Treadmill for long runs, short walks, and everything in between. It has a powerful 3.6 CHP motor, allowing it to support most types of training. The only households I wouldn’t recommend this treadmill for are those with multiple advanced runners who are training every day. Since the Carbon Pro 9000 is an iFIT treadmill, you need an active membership to unlock most of its training features. It is usable in manual mode without an iFIT account or Wi-Fi but does not have onboard workouts unless you create a free account. With a paid membership, you get access to thousands of trainer-led classes that explore running and hiking routes all over the world. iFIT also provides access to entertainment apps like Netflix, Spotify, Prime Video, Audible, and more. You can stream your favorite TV shows, movies, and playlists whether you are training in an iFIT class or have created a custom workout. Google Maps allows walkers and runners to design routes anywhere in the world. I use this feature to preview race courses or revisit old high school and college running paths.
