Solo Hiking Luxmore Summit of the Kepler Track

26km out-and-back hike up to Luxmore Summit (part of the Kepler track - a New Zealand Great Walk). Cold day on the mountain. Gradual incline all the way up and was lucky enough to get a peak through the clouds at the summit. Took the ferry from Te Anau to Brod Bay at 8am in the morning and back at 4pm. I unfortunately didn't have time to see the glow worm caves, but would like to next time (perhaps full Kepler hike?). A lot of time on feet, but it was nice to be on a well maintained path and not too steep. It's called a great walk for a reason! Enjoy.
