Two simultaneous calls for the San Francisco Fire Department's Fire Station 1 require all three units to respond: Engine 1, Tiller Truck 1 & Heavy Rescue Squad 1! See SFFD Chinatown Station 2 responding 🚒▶️    • [RING the BELL] - SAN FRANCISCO Fire ...   Shortly after we began a tour of the fire station, Engine 1 arrived from a previous call - and it was only moments before the alarm tones for the rescue truck sounded. We hadn't even finished recording outside when the Tillerman shouted to us that the two remaining units - the fire engine and aerial ladder - were now also being called out: “We all gotta go!”. These units responded to a fire alarm activation. Afterwards, you can see two more runs from Engine 1. Shortly after Engine 3 in the Tenderloin district, Engine 1 is the second most frequently alerted fire engine in San Francisco. It goes out on around 30 calls a day, which is more than one an hour! Absolute insane call volume - these units are among the busiest in the United States.
