Neil Baker Signs with the Ballers! | Free Agency Update

As we reach the end of the offseason, we are going to see a lot of the bigger names come off the board in free agency. We saw that pattern take place again today as Neil Baker and the Trenton Ballers have agreed on a 1 year, $6M deal. Ballers fans, you have got to be excited about this guy. He is getting SERIOUSLY underpaid for what he's going to do in Season 5. Coming up as the first ever “two-way” player in Strike-It Ball history, his first two seasons in the league have made him so close to dominance. Although he plays both striker and blocker, being a striker is his most dominant side. In Season 3 with the Hoopers, he only played 7 games, but still put up stats that would’ve helped him win MVP if only he played at least one more game in the season. That season, he dominated the league with his ability of getting doubles. His teammates loved it when he would show off by making nearly impossible in-game doubles. Because of this, fans gave him the nickname, “The Wizard” because it seemed magical how insanely good he was at putting up a double. In Season 4, Neil Baker split his time between the Ballers and Swishers, while starting every game as a striker. It was a bit of a step down for him in comparison to his last season, but he was still good enough to be put onto the All Strike-It Ball Second Team. Putting his skill onto the Ballers’ championship bound team, It’ll be fun to watch him and the rest of the guys out there very soon.
