How to buy the cheapest used outboards is shopping for and buying the ones that might not run. In this video I cover a few simple things to check and look for when shopping for used outboard motors that can be found cheaper than outboard engines that are in running condition. I have purchased a few "unknown condition" old two stroke outboard engines, and all but one of them ended up being a running motor that I could use or pass on to someone else. The cheapest used outboard motors are usually the oners that the owners don't have the time or additional components to try to get them running. But usually a little research and elbow grease can get them running, but that's for another video!
