In this video, we made Mirza Ghasemi which is a famous dish from the north of Iran. It is a vegetarian dip based on grilled eggplants, tomatoes, and eggs with garlic and spices. . We took this peaceful day at Narcis Hostel to make this delicious dish. You can follow the recipe in the video to make your own Mirza Ghasemi. . . At our Persian nights in Narcis Hostel, we like to have a cooking contest with our dear guests. One Persian dish versus one dish from the country our guests have come from. We always have a lovely Persian night with Persian Music and Persian food. . . Here’s the written recipe of Mirza Ghasemi: . Ingredients: ⁃ 1 eggplant per person ⁃ 1 Tomato per person ⁃ 2 Garlic cloves ⁃ 1 egg per person ⁃ Half an onion per person ⁃ Salt, pepper, and hot sauce Wash your vegetables. Skewer the eggplants and tomatoes and put them on fire over coal or stovetop. Peel them once they’re smocked. Mash them with a fork. Sauté chopped onion and garlic together then mix the mashed tomatoes and eggplants into the mix. Then add the eggs and mix them well.
