Starting from Minaret/Cecile Lakes, a higher diversion from the official SHR up on the Volcanic Ridge and following it clockwise to overlook, in succession, Minaret, Cecile, Iceberg, Ediza, Cabin, Shadow, Rosalie, Lois, Emily, and Castle Lakes, dropping SE off the SE end looking towards mammoth Mtn. The class 4-5 center Peak 10965 section was bypassed to S side. California, Sierra Nevada Mountains, Ansel Adams Wilderness, Volcanic Ridge. Off the John Muir Trail near Mile 056. Go to next video - Day 16 (Coming soon - Not uploaded yet) Early rough edit dumps of video from a mostly off trail 5 week hike including most of the Sierra High Route, looping North from Tuolumne Meadows to Twin Lakes just off the NE Yosemite boundry to start the SHR, then back South to Kings Canyon Roads End to end the SHR, then on South off trail to Mt Whitney. Sections of the SHR on trail were mostly bypassed for off trail alternatives, some sections previously hiked were bypassed for other off trail alternatives, and assorted additional side loops as well as additional stretches before and after were included.
