Another game made by ‪@MadeByMilanDev‬ the same guy behind PVZ The Last Zombie. This time based off Hill Climb Racing. Now Hill Climb Racing remains a classic app to this day. You play as Bill and just drive endlessly through some hillside levels. This game tries to capture that feeling by having the player drive through a haunted forest while fending off an evil version of Bill. Sounds good on paper and while there are some unique mechanics at play such as using the radio to scare off the monster while driving and reaching into the glove compartment to shine a light in Bill's face, There's very little to keep the drive interesting. Outside of the gas stations, There's only 2 obstacles in the game you have to contend with: A tree falling down and boxes on a bridge. Both of which don't appear ever again and one of them can actually soft-lock the game since the bridge has no invisible walls preventing you from falling in which if you do fall down there, you're forced to quit out since there's no death scene when that happens. The fuel is also pretty strict which means you got to gun it to the next gas station which would be fine... If the first person perspective wasn't so disorienting! Trust me: The idea of playing a Hill Climb Racing game in 1st person sounds cool but after playing this game you're gonna be thankful that you see everything from a 2D perspective because the original game's level design was not built with being able to look through the main character's eyes in mind. Add on the fact that hills can cause collisions even when they shouldn't and having to rush for the gas stations and you got a combination that doesn't mix very well in a game that turned an endless driving game into a horror game.
