Their first destination is the "Death Valley" ("Valley of Death"), located in the Mojave Desert in the southern United States. It is the lowest point, driest and hottest in North America. The photographer planned to ask Norma Jeane naked in nature, project it will eventually abandon modesty with respect to its model, but especially for the deep feelings that the photographer feels for Norma Jeane. The drive lasts for hours, and they walk empreintent winding and steep paths. In the evening, they stay in bungalows separated at the hotel Furnace Creek Inc., in the heart of Death Valley.
