Two Shinobi videos in one week, but alas the next entry is a little disappointing, it is still a good game but Shinobi-X was a Shinobi game that fell short of its expectations. In the mid 90`s the fifth generation of console was launched and Sega`s efforts here made use of the technology............ to include some grainy and pixelated FMV footage and some digitized graphics... two items from gaming I absolutely despise. Is it all bad though? Can the gameplay make up for the annoying graphics trend of the time? Does the CD-ROM technology provide for some of the best music to ever appear in a Shinobi game? Can I keep a straight face when watching the terribly acted FMV scenes? and just what is the ultimate technique? I knew a girl who used an ice-cube once........... but that's a video for another time. To answer these questions , you just need to watch I guess. So sit back, grab a coffee and relax as I play Shinobi-X on the 32-Bit Sega Saturn.
