A film showing what a lively broadcasting centre BBC Bristol was in 1973. But it seems the whole place was being run by middle aged men in suits and ties smoking pipes! There are a few famous faces, Jonny Morris from Animal Magic, John Craven already doing children's programmes and Hugh Scully who would go on to present The Antiques Roadshow. Perhaps strangely there is no mention of David Attenborough who was only just beginning to embark on his many Bristol based landmark wildlife series. The Whiteladies road building opened in September 1934 but all network TV production moved from this site to a new building in the city centre in August 2022. A BBC Bristol Production.
