Dolomites, Italy from Above // Aerial Views

In 2024, we spent 5 days filming these aerial vistas of the Dolomites region of Northern Italy. The Dolomites are perhaps one of the world's most beautiful mountain ranges. From an aerial perspective, it is clear that the natural beauty here stems from a variety of dramatic vertical shapes such as pinnacles, spires, and towers, as well as contrasting horizontal surfaces such as ledges, crags, and plateaus, all of which rise abruptly above massive talus deposits and gentle slopes. The mountains rise as peaks with intervening ravines, some lonely and others offering panoramic vistas. Some of the rock cliffs here rise beyond 1,500 metres and are among the world's highest limestone walls. --- Shot with DJI Mini 3 Pro --- With much love and thanks to Li-Chuan Chong, composer and sonic artist who wrote and produced the soundtrack.
