Live recording of my set @ElectroXotica 2025 with Beeldenstorm on live visuals. Lots of cables indeed, but with a set which extend to + 50minutes (the encore is not included in this video) patches get weird and full with spaghetti. Modularists will recognise the effort needed to get it done but it delivers such a great vibe when everybody attending enjoys it! All tracks are unreleased and im recording them in the studio to hopefully get them on vinyl LP some day. The visual aspect is a thing that makes the experience complete, Beeldenstorm masters this and Jef and i know each other for almost 30years now and still able to suck the crowd into the atmosphere created. Thanks to all that attended and followers/supporters who support what we do. Special thanks to electric Bear for organising this event, he played a marvelous set as well prior to mine, so go check his stuff out!. this is the 2nd version, a fixed one if you will, the previous was not good because of several issues, it even got almost 10minutes of black video so.. Either way, this one is ready for headphones and a big ass screen. Main sequencer for voices is eloquencer Main clock and some of the beats is digitakt. Most voices come from the modular but the Vermona Perfourmer adds in as well, controlled via pitch and gate information out of eloquencer. A 1010music bitbox does sampling duty and the waldorf KB37 keyboard is connected with the 4MS ensemble and the Roland SH-01. All in all you could say it's hybrid modular/hardware. Some effects are in the rig, but i tend to use pedals to get specific sounds out of the VCO's, it's all blended trough submixers, and out of the main Befaco hexmix system into Threetom's Doppio for extra punch. Joranalogue Transmit 2 serves as DI. Enjoy it and more to come...
