Bellum is being designed from the ground up to encourage and promote working as a member of a platoon, with that platoon further sub-divided into squads, then into fireteams. The communications in Bellum are designed to closely simulate real-world tactical comms, with local proximity chat, plus Squad radio comms in one ear, and Command Net in the other. At present, there are three factions: US Army Ranger Regiment, Russian Satyr PMC, and Al-Zalaam insurgent forces.
