Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College (SKZMDC) Lahore is a public sector Medical College affiliated with University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore. Every year, in this college MBBS admissions are processed through UHS. The college has 100 MBBS seats. Earlier, 90 seats were on open merit basis for which Punjab and Islamabad candidates could apply and the remaining 10 seats were reserved for foreign nationals and dual nationality holder Pakistanis. This year, the seats distribution has been changed. University of Health Sciences Lahore issued its prospectus 2020-21 where the total number of seats of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Medical & Dental College (SKZMDC) Lahore mentioned were 38. It was stated that this college is now under the administrative control of Federal Government. The 100 seats of MBBS have now been divided in different categories of provinces and regions just like Federal Medical & Dental College. Out of 100 MBBS seats, only 38 seats are reserved for Islamabad and Punjab domicile students. The remaining 72 seats have been divided in different quota seats i.e. open merit, Sindh (Rural), Sindh (Urban), Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Federal Government Employees, Foreign Candidates, FATA and disabled candidates. These admissions would be conducted through Federal government for which the merit calculation formula has been decided as Matric 10%, Intermediate 40% and National MDCAT 50%. The fee structure of MBBS will be same as mentioned in University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore prospectus. All the candidates will have to apply from Bank of Punjab website and Rs. 3000 application processing fee will have to be submitted in any branch of the Bank of Punjab through printed application processing fee challan. The last date for online registration is 22 January, 2021 and first merit list will be displayed on 23 January, 2021.
