Several Georgia teenagers were arrested and charged after a prank against a teacher turned deadly. The Hall County Sheriff's Office said, per WAGA, the teenagers visited the home of a local teacher, 40-year-old Jason Hughes, on Friday night, where they attempted to "roll" the yard with toilet paper. While they were there, Hughes came out of his home and approached the group, deputies said. The teens tried to flee in two separate vehicles, but, while walking toward the street, deputies say Hughes tripped into the road and was run over by one of the cars, driven by 18-year-old Jayden Ryan Wallace. Deputies added that Wallace and the other teens tried to help Hughes until first responders could arrive, but Hughes died from his injuries. Wallace is now charged with felony first-degree vehicular homicide and reckless driving, as well as misdemeanor criminal trespass and littering on private property. _________________ Stay up to date by following our social media: WSBT 22 on Facebook: / wsbtnews WSBT 22 on X: / wsbt WSBT 22 on Instagram: / wsbt For more information, visit https://wsbt.com/ Have a news tip?
