Russians say a catastrophe is currently unfolding at the front due to losing most communications and drone control after Starlink cut all service yesterday. According to Russian military channels and propagandists themselves, frontline operations have been paralyzed, assaults canceled, and coordination across units has broken down almost overnight. In this video, we break down how the loss of communications has crippled Russian command and control, disrupted drone warfare, and exposed how dependent Russia’s military has become on modern battlefield connectivity it does not control. At the same time, Russian propagandists are panicking. With the military situation collapsing at the front, they are struggling to manufacture narratives capable of masking failure. The usual talking points no longer work when Russians themselves are openly calling the situation a disaster. Beyond the battlefield, Russia’s economy continues to spiral. Oil revenues are down 50.2% year over year, protests are spreading over falling living standards, and the Russian government is now publicly advising citizens to spend less. In a stunning display of decline, state figures have begun telling Russians to “learn from North Korea” and emulate its model of endurance and obedience. We also examine the growing crime wave fueled by Russian soldiers returning from Ukraine, Ukraine’s latest humiliation of General Gerasimov over Russia’s continued failure to capture Kupiansk, and the seizure of a Russian cargo vessel by Estonian special forces. Elsewhere, Russia’s political influence is unraveling. The Russian-backed Viktor Orbán regime is facing a crushing defeat in upcoming elections, Moscow is admitting it may soon lose Cuba, and reminders are resurfacing of how Russia stole IMF bailout funds the last time it was rescued financially. This video shows how military failure, economic collapse, and propaganda breakdown are converging — and why Russians themselves are now saying the word the Kremlin fears most: catastrophe.
