Future and Hope – Bethania Homes is a non-governmental organization officially opened by the former Rukwa Regional Commissioner Honorable. Capt, George Huruma Mkuchika on 16.08.2003. Currently, Future and Hope - Bethania Homes has two centers which are Bethania Drop In Center with 20 children (age 7) which is a short-term shelter, and Bethania Children Village with 45 children (age 11) which is a long-term shelter for children the needy. 70% of Future and Hope - Bethania Homes is funded by Future and Hope Denmark and 30% should come from the community around us. In addition, Future and hope to provide services such as accommodation, food, health, education and other important needs for orphans and those living in dangerous environments. Different stories have been written by many children who once lived in Bethania homes, many of them now depends on themselves, who now acts as the guiding torch to the young children who still live in Bethania homes.
