I started Rez Famous with one goal: to give back to Native youth through basketball, music, and art. This summer, we brought the movement to Fort Peck Reservation in Montana, and I want to take you inside that journey. For three days, we ran a basketball camp for the kids — but this trip turned into way more than that. We sat down as brothers, shared stories in nature, paddled the Missouri River, stood with buffalo herds, rode horses, and witnessed the Fort Peck Stampede. And to close it out, we entered the sweat lodge — a prayer and ceremony that grounded us in what this work is all about.
