Spent the day in Fremantle and it was such a fun little getaway. Just a short train ride out, and you’re in a totally different vibe – chill, coastal, and full of character. First stop was the Fremantle Markets. Loved the energy there – lots of local stalls selling everything from souvenirs to handmade goods to yummy snacks. It’s one of those places where you could easily spend an hour just browsing and tasting things. I grabbed a bite at Starvin Marvin inside the market – they’re known for their Philly cheesesteak, and honestly, it did not disappoint. Super juicy, cheesy, and totally worth the hype!!!!!! After that, I swung by Fremantle Prison. It was cool to explore such a historic spot – kind of eerie but super interesting. The old architecture and stories behind the place definitely added a unique twist to the day. For lunch, I went to Kailis' by the harbour, and I swear it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had so far. The seafood was fresh, the batter was crispy, and the view by the water made it even better. Wrapped up the day with dinner at Jom Kopitiam.
