Its stable and torsionally flexible frame concept allows for high payloads and serves as the foundation for a wide range of body configurations – from three-way tippers and rear tippers to roll-off tippers and custom-built construction vehicles. A broad range of axle configurations – from 4x2 to 6x4 and 8x8, with steel or air-suspended drive axles, now also available with a nine-ton front axle – ensures that the vehicles can be precisely tailored to their intended use. The current Euro VI engines – OM 470, OM 471, and OM 473 – offer a wide power range of up to 460 kW (625 hp), delivering strong torque and low fuel consumption. The Powershift Advanced automatic transmission ensures quick gear changes, smooth power delivery, and comfortable driving both on- and off-road. The optional Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive (HAD) provides additional traction in difficult driving situations without the weight and fuel consumption of a full all-wheel drive. The turbo retarder clutch, a wear-free start and braking system, enables safe and precise handling of extreme loads on inclines and declines. The Mercedes-Benz Atego stands for efficiency, agility, and versatility in the medium-duty segment. With its compact cab, the Atego is particularly well-suited for operations in urban environments, on narrow construction sites, or in municipal service. Its combination of a powerful Euro VI engine, robust engineering, and practical equipment makes it a reliable partner for everyday tasks. Equipped with modern driver assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist 6, Active Sideguard Assist 2, Frontguard Assist, as well as lane keeping and attention assist systems, the Atego offers a high level of safety – both for drivers and their surroundings. The new FUSO eCanter showcases practical electric mobility: equipped with an M battery pack, a 3,400 mm wheelbase, and the robust Meiller Trigenius tipper, it offers a flexible solution for municipal services, landscaping, and commercial applications. Thanks to standard AC and DC charging capability, the eCanter is highly flexible: it can be charged via AC (up to 22 kW) in about 6 hours (0–100%) or via DC fast charging (up to 104 kW) in just 26 minutes (20–80%). With a payload of around 3.1 tons, high maneuverability, compact dimensions, and excellent all-around visibility, the eCanter delivers the proven strengths of the Canter series – especially in tight urban environments and on space-constrained construction sites.
