Using the selection tool to separate the moon from its background is not a good idea because it takes more time, and the resulting quality will be low. Instead, we will use blending modes to naturally take out the moon's background and blend it into the new sky. The "Screen" mode is best for adding the moon into the sky. But if you want the moon looks more natural, you should add a glowing effect to the moon. It's a bit tricky, but It's simple. Just use the "Gaussian Blur" to blur the moon, and then change the Gaussian Blur's blending mode to lighten. It gives a realistic glowing effect.
