Seat Concepts Comfort XL installation on the 2020 Husky 701 enduro LR solves one of the big gripes many people have about this bike as a long distance adventure bike. Namely, the hard OEM seat that makes most riders want to cut their day short. The Seat Concepts Comfort XL makes the 701 enduro a much more comfortable on a long day in the saddle. The install is simple and straightforward and worth the effort even if you have the challenge of working without an air gun stapler as I did. A little time and effort will yield a great looking seat that helps smooth out the miles. Just a couple cautionary notes; one is that the XL designation on the seat means it’s wider than stalk, and although not actually taller it sure makes the bike feel taller so if you are vertically challenged then you may what to couple this mod with a lowering link for the Husky 701, like I am. Stay tuned for that install video coming up shortly. In the mean time, with my 32 inch inseam I am now tip-toeing on this bike at stop lights. With the stalk seat I was pretty much flat footed. Another cautionary note for those of you who are used to riding big adventure bikes as I was, is that this seat is not as soft and comfortable as your typically OEM GS seat. Actually it works better in technical off-road scenarios, but you pay for it with less comfort running down the tarmac. I hope this video is helpful, I'm always happy to get your questions comments and feedback.
