Maybe you've never tried a film recipe before, heard of it and are curious how to proceed. "Film recipes" are ways to set custom white balance, color and exposures ahead of time on your camera so that your jpegs get a "baked in" custom look straight out of the camera. Now that I've switched to Fuji (away from Canon) for my professional work, I've also been able to shoot jpegs for clients, using a film recipe, and deliver those shots, after culling out the bad compositions, with NO EDITING WHATSOEVER. I definitely shoot raw in addition to jpeg and have those files just in case they are needed, but this move has saved me HOURS of editing time. You just have to find a favorable/compatible film recipe for your shoot - definitely know your client's preferences and needs - and make sure you spend time with it, and get comfortable with how the recipe renders color and light, and then voilá - you are off to the races.
