How to Install Amazon LED Light Bar 40" Xterra

Got this 41.5" LED light bar off Amazon and installed it in a few hours using a Rigid Industries LED light bar wiring harness and OffRoadGorilla's Nissan 2nd Generation Xterra light bar mounts. I took a gamble with a cheap $88 amazon led bar, this thing feels built like a tank and is very bright! I didn't want the install to look as cheap as it is so I made sure to get custom made mounting brackets by offroadgorilla.com. They fit perfectly and shipped with free 2 day shipping! The wiring harness wasn't quite long enough for my application so I lengthened the positive lead to the battery and the positive and negative leads by 2 ft going to the light above the roof. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the roof to run the wires. This was done under the roof basket and hidden. I placed a rubber grommet to protect the wires and put a hefty glob of silicone inside and out. Running the wire up the A pillar around the side airbags was the most nervous part of the install. The second most difficult part was getting a 3/4" hole drilled for the light switch. I slowly stepped up the bit side but it still came out a little rough but not noticeable. NOTE* the rigid industries switch doesn't come with instructions, The black wire goes to the gold plug, the blue wire goes to the center silver plug and the red plugs into the bottom silver plug.
