Ingredients 3 shallots 2 garlic cloves 600g beef 50g flour 2tbsp paprika (for flour) 1 tsp paprika for sauce 2tbsp oil knob of butter 30ml brandy 600ml cider 4 tbsp tomato puree 250g chestnut mushrooms 200ml creme fraiche We haven't made this dish for some time and what a shame that is. We mixed 2 versions of it that we had seen, one being the posh version from Masterchef and the other Delia's poor mans stroganoff and the combination works amazingly. The dish is so creamy and rich but also quite light. The flavours are delicious and it is such a simple meal to make.
