To mark the occasion, a new split has been created, with one side for each artist, continuing the label's goal of sharing music without limits of style, genre or signature. This time, Sub Accent, founder of the label, shares ACCENTAPE010 with his long-time friend Accou, an artist active in the Belgian experimental underground scene. His sound blends elements of ambient, sleep music, breakbeat, experimental, tribal, and neo-classical influences. The result is detailed and textured, with fluid synths and crafted rhythms that meet soft, layered melodies. Together, these four tracks bring a forward-looking and urban feel. On side B, Sub Accent offers an EP shaped like the soundtrack of an imaginary science fiction film, with both bright and shadowy tones. It recalls early works from artists such as FUSE or Plastikman, exploring a futuristic and slightly dystopian world.
