I Drove Through The Most Dangerous Parts of Richmond, Virginia. Here's What I Saw.

Richmond, Virginia has some really bad areas! For this episode of dashboard tours, I checked out one of the most dangerous and rundown areas in the state of Virginia, a neighborhood in Richmond, the state’s capital. To get there, I would take I-95 south into downtown. It was on a Thursday in late March at around noon. Richmond has long been one of the most rundown and crime ridden cities in Virginia. The part of town we’re gonna see in is on the city’s north end, sort of south and east of downtown proper. It’s well known among Richmond residents as a place where most of the crime, drug use and poverty exists. For the drive, we’re going to see three different parts of the worst sections of Richmond. We’ll begin on the main road through this part of town, check out a few surrounding neighborhoods, and finish on the south side of this neighborhood in one of Richmond’s infamous housing projects. Here’s the exact route we’ll be taking.
