AJAC’s machining apprenticeship program encompasses a variety of skill-sets apprentices will learn both on the job and in the classroom. While working at an employer AJAC partners with, apprentices work one-on-one with journey-level machinists while rotating around the shop floor to become a well-rounded skilled individual. One night a week, AJAC’s apprentices learn the theory behind what they do on the job from industry professionals to teach the classroom portion of the program.
