Scraps Blanket Tutorial! Super Easy Chunky Scrap Eater Pattern!

#crochet #onmyhook #colorfulcrochet Hi there! Welcome to All the Crochet Fun. In today's video I'm sharing my first tutorial, enjoy! This pattern is great for blankets, scarves and cowls. Supplies- I used 2 strands of 4 weight yarn (Aran, Worsted), one of them was always Ice Yarns Macaron, the other one either Amigo XL from Hobbii or Chunky Monkey by Scheepjes (I had lots of scraps from blankets made with those yarns) 12mm crochet hook Pattern: Make a slip stitch using 2 strands of 4 weight yarn and 12mm hook. Chain as many chains as you want your project to be. Row one- HDC in 3rd chain from your hook, HDC in each chain till the end of the row. Ch 1, turn your work. Row two (WS)- HDC in third loop, that is the loop below the front loop. This stitch "pushes" the V we usually crochet into to the front of the pattern, creating an attractive look. Continue all the way, last stitch is regular HDC into the second chain from the foundation chains row. Turn your work. Ch 1. THE REPEAT: RS- BLOHDC - Back loop only HDC in each stitch. Ch 1, turn work. WS- HDC in third loop in each stitch. Ch1, turn work.
