Let simmer gently for about 3 minutes, being careful not to brown the garlic. Add the chopped sweet onions and cook until translucent. Stir in the yellow, orange, and red bell peppers. Cook on low heat until all vegetables are softened. Remove from heat and set aside. In a separate large pan over medium heat, add the ground beef. Allow it to begin cooking and browning slightly before adding seasonings. To the beef, add chili powder, ground cumin, cocoa powder, brewed coffee, red vinegar, crushed or diced tomatoes, cayenne pepper, flour, oregano, beef broth, brown sugar, and salt and pepper. Stir well to fully combine. Once the beef mixture is evenly seasoned and blended, transfer it into the large pot with the cooked vegetables. Stir thoroughly. Add the kidney beans, black beans, garbanzo beans, and frozen corn. Mix well. Reduce heat to low and let the chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serving Suggestions Serve hot with shredded cheese, jalapeños, chopped onions, sour cream, and tortilla chips. 00:00 Upbeat Welcome to Taste of Success 00:07 Meet Angie and Ally 00:13 A Family Chili Tradition 00:19 Getting the Girls Home Through the Kitchen 00:32 Cooking as Connection 00:40 The Story Behind the Recipe 01:33 Preparing the Vegetables 02:06 Finding Joy in Cooking Again 02:30 Peppers and Onions Prep 03:12 Chili Toppings and Fall Favorites 03:36 Back to the Stove 03:45 Seasoning the Meat 04:29 Building Flavor and Texture 05:10 Sautéing the Veggies 05:39 Why the Kitchen Matters 06:10 Adding Beans, Corn, and Tomatoes 07:13 Bringing It All Together 07:55 Letting the Chili Simmer 08:02 A Farm Truck Financial Surprise 08:21 Serving and Tasting 08:54 Final Thoughts and Gratitude #TasteOfSuccess #farmtruckfinancial #retirementwealthadvisors #cookingshow #motherdaughter #familyrecipes #chilirecipe #HomeCooking #familytraditions #SuccessBeyondMoney #retirementlifestyle #financialfreedom #LifestyleByDesign #kitchenstories #foodandfamily
