This is one of my favorite Chinese Romantic Comedy Drama Series with the sweet but cocky "Scum Bag" Ray Ma (Ma Tianyu) and the innocent yet feisty "Bumpkin" Deng Jia Jia. In Edge to Happiness, Ma Tianyu (He Mu) is the never do well and misunderstood heir who leads an empty life- until he leaves home to escape a forced marriage and joins the working class, meets the sweet Deng Jia Jia and falls in love. I spent 3 nights speed watching 42 episodes and cutting scenes and wasn't sure how it would be received. I am choosing more obscure shows you may not have enjoyed with my favorite actors.
