I feel like if I'm doing the main Amane's theme, then I should also do a follow-up with the last spell version as well. When I played the game itself, I found that the 7-second loop can feel a little bit repetitive really fast, so I tried to experiment with a lot of stuff to help alleviate that feeling. However, no matter how much I tried to add, the 4-chord loops still felt really repetitive. Then, my friend ‪@tempura-ocha‬ came to the rescue and helped come up with new chord progressions for the looping part. Thus, the long 4-chord loops have been turned into spicy 32-bar progressions. From there, it was smooth sailing for me to slowly build on the theme by borrowing different bits and pieces from the original theme. In the end, it kind of becomes quite different from the original, but hopefully, it still keeps its old essence in a way. I think it is probably kinda obvious which song was my inspiration for this as well. All I can say is that I can't resist, lol.
