Senses & Dreams is track 4/4 of a soundtrack I call "Buried Deep", an album I hid away for a someone that represented my world a long time back in 2019. This is the very first piece of music I incorporated a poem into a lyrical piece, and got around to completing it in July 2024 once I found my own inner peace to conclude this project, and regain my DNA as FiNeSiTe. It represents threading the fine line between reality and the illusory. Lyrics: It's the way the eyes close tightly as fingers weave hair It's the way the body melts into comfort and warmth How touch could be alluring and yet feel so safe? It's in the way your breath hitches It's in the intimate tension But when alarms go blaring With no face nor bearing How on Earth could this feel so real but end up not being? So is this how it feels - To be driven by senses and dreams... Senses and dreams? In a way your spirit feels like its home And in a way you just stop feeling alone You get the vibes the flow the energy feels so right An overwhelming sense that's just your one guiding light. But when alarms go blaring With no face nor bearing Should blissful reality have to end through wakening? So is that how it feels - To be driven by senses and dreams... Senses and dreams ...?
