Got my new Milwaukee cordless shop vac and love it! So I thought to myself "What's the fastest way to void the warranty?" and I came up with this. The problem with migrating to cordless tools is losing the ability to use commonly available relay outlets to control dust extraction. This remote control project alleviates that by having a wireless remote control at the tool that I'm using or attached to my tool apron. (I used a 2Ah battery for most of my testing because I figured if something went wrong, I would rather wreck an $80 battery instead of a $250 one.)
