Release date: March 13, 2026 “Esmeraude’s Bizarre Adventure” is a heavily modified version of the Streets of Rage 2 hack “Senshi Wars: Beryl’s Revenge” by 120Pythons and PPI_Akiko. It is inspired by the SOR2 hacks Double X and Hong Kong 97. The following changes between this hack and BERYL’S REVENGE are listed below (this list only includes new changes and does not include the initial changes made in SENSHI WARS that this hack still shares, such as Air Combos and 6 button support.) Completely new story and main character, all text and art has been replaced. Heavily remixed the enemies and items in every stage. The game is more difficult and hectic, but also kinda funny. Esmeraude is the only playable character and the Senshi are trying to stop you. Many enemies now have new color palettes depending on the stage. Touched up all of Esmeraudes sprites to look better. (Less distortion, her fan is now a reddish color, she is wearing her necklace and bracelet in all of her sprites now.) Run freely in all directions and carry momentum during a jump. Perform the full basic combo even if nobody is being hit. No longer locked in place for a moment after regular attacks. Time needed to hold down B for charge attacks reduced to 1/2 a second. Air Throw replaced with Piledriver. SP system added. Hitting enemies builds SP. It costs 20 SP to use your very powerful offensive special. New item: Platinum Knuckle. Grants the player 40 SP. 10 new songs! New colors and sound effects on a few things. 2 Player and VS are disabled
