The Northern Territory has recorded six new local cases of COVID-19, taking the Katherine outbreak to 100 cases. Four of the cases were detected in Tennant Creek, a town about 700 kilometres south of Katherine. The town has been sent into an immediate three-day lockdown. The other two cases were detected in the Howard Springs quarantine facility. Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison says there were also two unlinked cases detected in Yulara, a town near Uluru.
