Ghost Wav was not copied, borrowed, or derived from any existing genre. It was God-sent. I didn’t wake up one day trying to reinvent music. What happened felt spiritual — like a gift, a calling, or a message passed through me. Whether it was divine guidance, an angelic presence, or the spirit of my mother, something pushed me out of every existing genre and into my own. And that’s how you know a genre is real. When you can clearly explain: • what it does differently than hip-hop • what it does differently than cinematic music • what it does differently than lo-fi • what it does differently than reggae or reggaeton That’s not a style — that’s a genre. ⸻ 🌊 What Makes Ghost Wav Different Ghost Wav (Ghostwave) is Cinematic Air-Hop — a sound that floats. Unlike hip-hop, which typically stays in one key and relies on repetitive loops, Ghost Wav constantly evolves throughout a song. In Ghost Wav: • The key signature changes every 8 bars • Pivot-chord modulation is used to move emotion • Songs may flow from C Major → A Minor → G Major → back to C Major • The listener’s emotion continuously shifts: happy, reflective, tense, calm, uplifted, or somber The music never stays stagnant.
